Adult Ministries
Small Groups
We believe that God created us to be in community with others and through our small group ministry each member has the opportunity to participate in our fellowship. Some small groups study a particular book of the Bible while others have a more topical approach. Either way, the gospel is the foundation of the small group ministry.
Apologetics
What is it? Apologetics is the ability to defend the faith. The group uses a video study to deepen their understanding of how to express their faith to others in a world that ridicules Christianity.
Women’s Ministries
This is a good way to meet other ladies from the church. Great friendships have been formed by spending fun times together.

Wednesday Women’s Bible Study
The Pine Grove Women’s Bible Study meets on Wednesday mornings at 10:00a.m. during the school year. They have a time of coffee/tea and a brunch potluck to begin their time together. The study they participate in is a book partnered with a video.
Occasionally the ladies will meet in someone’s home to celebrate a holiday or birthday, or have an outing. This is a great opportunity to get involved in Pine Grove, whether you are a new member, or have been attending for a while.
The ladies are always open to welcoming new faces to the group.
Summer Women’s Bible Study
The summer Women’s Bible Study meets on Thursday evenings beginning at 6:30 p.m. for 6-8 weeks beginning in May. This study is also in a book partnered with a video.
JOY Group
The Joy Group is a fun, adventurous group of single and widowed ladies who consider themselves “Just Older Youth”. We meet for lunch once a month at local restaurants. Occasionally, we fit in a day trip or picnic.
The Women’s Ministries Team plans several events throughout the year. The most popular are:
The Spring Fling – a brunch for women filled with great food, a wonderful speaker, games and worship.
Euchre Tournaments – anyone and everyone who enjoys euchre is invited to participate.
